澳洲現正開始步入夏天,,是最適合到當地旅遊的時候. 老外榮要出差;而我,卻因為美食,所以要做跟得夫人,一起去了悉尼/墨爾本四日三夜之旅.

搭晚上七時的飛機,到達當地便是早上的清晨七時.整個行程只有安排食.第一天,下午跟他的朋友見面,我們到了Chowder bay 的Ripples午飯.

蟹肉粥;發現他們很多菜式也是中西合璧.若你只想吃西餐的話你會有點失望

這個龍蝦炒蛋很好味,可能是比較西式.Tasmanian lobster, scrambled eggs, lobster essence, shaved kombu and seaweed

老外榮叫這個神戶牛很好.Darling Down’s Kobe beef, fennel, mint, green olive and potato.其實這裡走的是西式亞洲 fusion菜,對外國人來說可能很吸引,但對我來說便有點”高不成低不就”了

第二天,去完Tarongo Zoo到後,我們便到悉尼的魚市場吃生蠔.

可惜當天我們下午4時多才去到,店舖大都關門了,只有一檔仍有生蠔賣,還只有Pacific Oysters. 我們叫了兩打,AUD$11一打.好抵吃

晚上,便到我最愛的唐人街名海鮮酒家”金唐 ”吃晚飯了.這裡無論幾多點來也是站滿人的,一定要先訂枱.

來的目的,就是要吃我上次一食難忘的”皇子蟹 Snow crab" 了.牠是我吃過最喜歡的蟹,肉質甜,肉身沒有肉蟹的”實”,比較爽身.

他們有很多做法的,今次叫了XO醬炒,好好味.這裡的皇子蟹(雪蟹)真是比我在香港及新加坡食過的更好!肉質豐厚,必食推介!

第三天,我們便到了墨爾本.下午吃了傳聞是”天下第一牛河”的”勇記”和晚上吃了最出名的Fine dining restaurant " Vue de Monde" . 詳情請看blog世上最好食越南生牛河Phở 大比拚 --- 墨爾本"勇記 VS 胡志明" 和粉" , Vue Du Monde --- 墨爾本最有名星級餐廳.

第四天,便經酒店介紹去了這間也很有人氣的 CUMULUS INC,他們位於甲級寫字樓召區,不設訂位.十分爆滿.

生蠔啦!上次遲了去FISHMAN MARKET,吃蠔吃得不夠喉.今次上飛機前一定要再吃.他們的生蠔除了COFFIN BAY外,全部未在香港吃過,我便點了那些未吃過的來吃.他們的蠔是一間叫Moonlight Flat Oysterage的公司,在Batemans Bay養殖的.Batemans bay 是在悉尼附近,而這幾款蠔也是爽身,有金屬味的.合正我心意.
